Internal structure and composition of the earth and its relation to tectonic processes. Seismology, igneous rocks, volcanoes, plate tectonics, isostasy.
Prerequisites: GEOL 202; Math 122 or MATH 141 or consent of instructor.
Note: Includes laboratory and recitation. Required field trips. Taught alternate years.
